Man Diego Strikes again!!

Look out! San Diego magazine is doing a piece on our favorite Man of Style and his RAEN/ Libre adventures!! Not sure when this will publish, but exciting, to say the least! Lest we forget his debut in the Man Diego issue of Riviera! (did I really say hunky hubby? wow.)

Just like Jee-ah.

Who, me? Posing?

pink bike

nothing says "vacation" like a pink bike..glad to see he has no complex

Shredding the dirt

While in LA visiting Auntie Julia, we stopped at Griffith Park to let the kids run around and "rip stick"...in the dirt. I guess playing at the playground isn't cool when you're as 'gnarly' as J. She looked really fast in real life. Justin sounds like Beavis and Butthead. Campbell thinks the dirt is EW.

Did we forget to say Happy Birthday, Justin?

Before leaving for Oregon, had a birthday cheesecake for breakfast to celebrate Justin turning older.

Punk'in stop

Nana B squeezed in a trip to Lakeview Farms (so sorry we didn't get to see you, Williamson crew) before we left to the airport. A real pumpkin patch experience... train ride, boat tour, hay maze and pumpkins as far as the eye can see... to be fair, it wasn't a typical Oregon day; the rain held out! The challenge was finding small enough squash to carry on board to San Diego. They are now centerpieces and real "museum quality" for Jadyn as she tells friends, "These came ALL the way from Oregon" (like they're going to be some foreign species from SO far away)

Benz Birthday Weekend Family Cooking (and eating) Challenge

What a fun getaway to celebrate Nana B and Big Poppi's 60ths in SunRiver, Oregon. Stef and Jordan conceived the "Top Chef"esque cooking challenge for which the honorees and their cohorts (the honorary Benzes.. the Prossers) were judges (and Jadyn got to sit at the judges table, too). We loved the real fall feeling weather being up in the mountains and all of the laughter (and bacon grease) being together with everyone. A rare treat.
deer: all over the place. It's amazing how they just come right up to us, unafraid.
The whole group.
Rocky Ray is a little boy's real life cowboy idol
Family bike ride will be a lifetime memory... so awesome to have dad back from the injured list. Biking was a piece of cake for a wounded ankle (fueled by bacon?)... rad mountian bike, Jbird.
little bowling break with the aunties and uncles at Lava Lanes.

pointing everyone out..

Can't wait for next year!

Air-pwyanes.

Campbell was in hog-heaven from the minute we parked the car and he could hear the planes. "WHAOOOAH!!!" he shouted... a lot. There are never enough photos to capture the memories. He loved it all. Slept with his Blue Angel. Justin was such a trooper walking all that way on the bum ankle (I was about to kick people in line for the shuttle back to our car that in fact, COULD walk) for a father-son memory. Awesome time with the Marroquin family... Liam is such a big boy now, loving all the "real live GI JOE action"...Love how Pippa loves "Uncle Justin," too. We miss you guys!!

Avery (Pippa) and Uncle Justin
"Campbell, you'd be so much cooler if you'd let go of the stupid blankee... but high five, anyway, dude."

he used to be thiiiiis small..

soooo cool, of course, as it's on it's way to donation-land

Lucy love

sad I only have this shot of Campbell and Lucy hitting it off. He was totally commanding the baby jogger during the entire impromtu play date. Thanks, T, for the fun timez in the OC

September in the rearview

Getting ready for halloween.. Campbell is super into "shhh.. sneaking up" on everyone.. this one was for Kai. .aka "WHY".. yes, MIMI in tow, it gets taken everywhere.
Camping at the beach! This is why we live here, right?.. September is great when the tourists go home, we get quiet, gorgeous beach days.. and sneak in when there are cancellations at the campgrounds. We love Mr. T. Always dresses the part.
nothing like waking up to powdered donuts.
"Let me read you a story by the campfire"
Poppi towing the boys.. .SURFING. haa.
Yes, still glued to the TV.. but hey, he's WEARING a hat (he ran to get) while watching the episode ABOUT hats... that's good, right?
Dinner date with Miss Kate... "What are you looking at, Campbell?"
3D glasses never get old. So nice of big sis to include little bro in play-dates.

Working with Mom at the Beehive. Thanks to the sweet shop girls for plying him with candy for our entire appointment.
Finally a profesh haircut from Auntie...( no stopping this serious milk chugger.)
