Big first day of Kinder

Campbell's first day of kinder coincided with his 5th birthday this year. Big day! He was so nervous... packed his (awesome cape-included superhero--thanks, NanaB!) backpack a good week before, asking anyone who would respond all about Kindergarten.. overheard telling Jadyn (who had yet to start school)... "J, you know, Kindergarten is a pretty big deal"

and already wilting from the heat-wave, we said goodbye for the (whole 3.5 hours) day..

Bridge to Brownies

Kindergarten is nearing its end and now the Daisy Troupe is becoming Brownies.. (YES!!! We are mainly exicted for the cookie-selling-feature of the upcoming year)

Field Trip

Why would there be a nature field trip planned to a place with virtually NO animal life to be seen.. here kids, have some binoculars, check out the ???? (yawn!)
