a big resolution for us this year is to spend more time outdoors; camping, etc.. these kids are definitely 'outside' childrenn.. one of our favorite field trips is out to "the ranch".. "no one will mind if I take this puppy for a spin"
Always a great time at Palms Ranch... the girls reunited and all were treated to some tricks this time, as well... Campbell just can't figure out why he can't make the J.D. go... oh dear.
We are so lucky to have Palms Ranch in the 'family'... Campbell loves the tractor (as do the girls.. they ride in the back and let the wind blow through their hair.. really believing that the breaks are going to go out and they're going to fly through the hills of avocado and citrus fields on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride) and he loves Copoline, the black lab.. not so sure of Ziggy the (gross fat) pig, the ducks, the chickens or the goats... but Shelby is right at home and loves even the new baby...rats... I declined a view of these buddies.
um, who is this weird pirate-ish guy wanting to take a pic with us??
Shelby and Jbird had a BLAST at Legoland. Campbell was totally jealous that he wasn't tall enough to ride the rides...the girls lapped the rollercoasters over and over.. not even 'fraid at ALL. so cute
Our first visit to Anthony and John's ranch..so nearby, yet a world away from our condo-life. Good old fashioned fun, picking oranges, grapefruits and avocados, all sorts of flowers (all neatly labeled).. playing with the new chickens and goats (who are scared of the girls).. and wishing there was a swiming hole out in the hot sun.. hint, hint, if you're reading this, John.
