a hillarious day kicked off with "coffee klatch", childy museum, some backyard playing and a pee pit stop, of course

That's what he said as he painted (on his easel, I assumed) while I was changing laundry... (he's never seen the movie.. but obvi, he's seen commercials and heard about it from J)

Our own private whale

Campbell and Olivia were the first kids to paint the big giant whale at the Children's Musee the other day.. so awesome to have the place to ourselves on a quiet, almost fall day

Jbird came home from play practice (dress rehearsal with the pigtails... I mean, she's sure NO ONE recognized her with this 'do) and set up this cute egg dyeing area for Olivia, Campbell and Kate... C didn't know that he wasn't supposed to drink it.

Artsy fartsy

An awesome way to spend a day off, can't believe we hadn't been here before. SD Children's Museum (do not be turned off, as I was, by the boring name) delighted us all.



for hire at your next children's birthday party.. J took a balloon art clinic... got to get inside the monstrous balloon sculpture and learned a few tricks.
