"Early" 2012 has now slipped by

Now that spring has sprung, I figure it's high time to dust off the old cammy and download the last 3 months of pictures...

Olivia is now 6~glam girl party at the Kirbs

"Please, Mom, get organized!"

Dead serious, we can't wait to go back to DL.

Go Padres!

Leo's first game.. broke some huge Pad's losing streak and was a great Labor day weekend date with the Kirbs. Highlight was the kids running the bases after the game. Just killed Dad to not be allowed to run, too. Sorry, they actually don't think you're a kid, Justin.

Our own private whale

Campbell and Olivia were the first kids to paint the big giant whale at the Children's Musee the other day.. so awesome to have the place to ourselves on a quiet, almost fall day

View is fine from here...

Campbell was more into giant chess than a pony ride (after waiting in line forever at Del Mar)... takes after his dad with his "love" of horses.

All we've ever needed was a 5 dollar wading pool..

Campbell and Olivia, last week.
Jbird, circa 2005 (?) I think she was four?
Justin and two year old Jbird at Sylvia Street... mind you, the ocean was a block away... yet the wader still reigned for afternoon fun.

New friend

Welcome Baby Jack Kirby! We miss living next door to Olivia and fam, but loved sharing her last night as an only child and meeting "our" new baby brother!

(just like) Sisters

They say the more time you spend with someone, the more you look alike... these two are proof. O is a mini J in so many ways. We all think of her as one of the family.

bath shots never get old

especially these hair-dos... I wish I had the ones of Jadyn's toddler suds-mohawks in near reach.. I will have to investigate.

always good when the whole neighborhood can get their bathing done together.. talk about conserving...

peer pressure

you take a bite, we'll take a bite... Olivia is such a good role model

Cinderella car.. the next generation..

I think someone small has his sights set on driving this thing.. of course the big kids are pros at showing the little ones how to drive. Auntie Jenna's present lives on... we love you.

The refugees

Jadyn and Olivia are running out of things to play after being cooped up inside for days due to all of this smoke. Looking like we won't be able to play outside all week! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak

We aren't white trash or anything...

Take your seats, one and all.. and if all of the lawn/ beach chairs are taken, well, pull up old carseats and broken rocking chairs for the BIG WEEKEND events at Silverado Street: Garage party! Yes, this is what we exciting families do since we don't go out on the town on Friday nights... whooo hoo!! who wants to go OUT or have dinner at a restaurant, right?

Summer Feet. Such a punchstain/ carnie kid with her cutoffs (she is obsessed with them.. if they're dirty, she would just as soon wear jeans on a 100 degree day than any other cute short option we have for her).. looooves her cutoffs... and dirty tarball feet.

Connect Four Tourney... I'm so bummed this picture doesn't really capture the whole essence of the evening. Some good old fashioned Milton Bradley fun by the street lights and our lowly garage bulb, amidst the piles of kids toys, holiday decorations, surf junk and misc other "storage" that is our garage. Feuled by Christina's gourmet hors d'ouevres served from atop a thrift store dresser waiting to be repainted.

Evidently, Livs has the Starbucks card... and the keys?

We all need a little ' Livs

Our favorite baby....ok, our favorite ONE year old: Miss O, already a shopper with one of her first words being "shoes". Livs is such a good sport.. she's been subject to many of Jadyn's "practice babysitting" attempts; roughed up, dragged and pushed around, and she's always smiling. We love Livs... and her parents are pretty nice, too.
