Another awesome weather day in California.. Really something amazing to be able to wear short sleeves as part of the costume.. with no turtle neck under, like the Halloweens of yore in Portland... need to find a photo of hula girl, age 4, red t-neck under coconut bra top.....anyway!

J was so nice to share the coveted whistle with her bro. Jadyn: the BLIND referee.. .get it, like those refs that the dads yell at when watching sports?? "What?!! are you BLIND, REF??" haa! We could barely stifle our laughter when she told us this plan... of course the blind ref knows how to rip-stick.. and Campbell refused to wear the adorable dalmation, Jadyn's horse AND the frog from Heit costume archive ... also refuses to take off the Charg-awh's jersey.. cries when it's dirty... thus, born the 09 costume.. worn for 2 days straight.. and at least I got to include (white) leggings.

two dads, one stroller. um.

we love wigs. Especially pint sized. Baby Belle was awesome. I wanted my little Charger to have an afro, but Justin drew the line.. Campbell wouldn't even keep the black stuff on his cheeks... I have nightmares of Power Rangers and GI Joe in the future...

all costumes include a wheeled mode of transport, natch..

breakfast of mini champs... just the cream cheese. jeez. one of these days, he'll eat something more than one bite..

Heit babies post 'carving party'..

Oh, how I wish the artsy, action shot photos would have turned out from carving...the (not about to scoop out or actually carve a pumpkin.. just "art direct" )Pumpkin King... not necessarily Jack Skellington, but ..
