The big 4th grade California history play, (I guess it's as much a part of 4th grade in California schools as learning the Oregon trail/ Lewis and Clark is in Oregon schools) .. J was able to wear the most awesome headdress and super cool outfit for her role as a Gabrielino Indian... Great songs and dancing! Truly cannot believe the year is almost over!

Fourth grade stand-out!

Celebrating all of Jbird's Fourth grade accomplishments!! One of the only girls in the all-school basketball tournament, Achievement awards, this year's "Invention Convention" entry : the "Can-Do" and Open House. We are proud of you, Bird!

Hero day

In honor of 9-Eleven, J's fourth grade chose their personal "heros", wrote a sweet letter to them, and invited them for 'hero' sammies and a luncheon in the classroom. J chose her cousin (18 months her senior) Kaia.

First day of 4th grade!

First day o school outfit was troublesome, as it usually is when fall weather sneaks in in the morning and burns off for HOT afternoons... J is always sweating, but doesn't let up on her flannel and jeans obsessh. We cannot believe she's in 4th grade. what the ????
