Scenes from a LOVEly weekend

Scott & Amanda's wedding and Taylor & Kate (Kaylor? Tayte?) Engagement party in September.. Leo and I made a cameo... and Leo gave Big P a lesson on iphone use..hung with his NanaB, Uncles and Aunties.. was a chick magnet on the dance floor and basically his little diablo self "off site".  No shortage of delicious NanaB mini pies, ice cream sundaes, petit fours and treats.. A weekend full of great memories and lots of smiles.

90 Party in (sunny!!??) Portland

Unreal weather for the late April birthday celebrations of Uncle Bill and Joe! (60 plus 30) The circus party was complete with a visit from the parade calliope,... kicking off the Rose Festival season... No details spared, not surprisingly..

the birthday boys...and Leo, again.

another Benz sheet cake in the making
strong man competition

cake walk and sweaty baby.. it was nearly 90 degrees ... I don't think it's been that hot either here or there this whole spring and summer since!
Kate the cake master's beautiful lemonade cake for her big sis
Totally unplanned outfits, just happened to all have?!

Joe and Sara tie the knot

A gorgeous wedding weekend for Joe and Sara in the filbert orchards of Oregon. Stefanie and Jordan were sorely missed but are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new neice or nephew. We tried to celebrate extra in their honor...

let us have a moment of silence for NanaB's cookie bar. It was insane. There is no bakery in the land to offer as many varietals of homespun goodness (nor sarajoe takeout boxes). yum.

The men...

Four generations of "Benz" guys.. well, technically one Heit...

walking practice... determined to get this little ring bearer down the aisle... ** he did make it 1/2 way, then Nana B scooped him up as he just decided to sit down on the way.
