OH! Pinocchio!

The end of drama camp coincided exactly with the beginning of our trip, so a little out of sequence... our star, "Child number 2" in the Off Broadway production of Pinocchio!

Charlie Brown and Friends

We are so proud of "Sofia", played by Jadyn in the Carrillo School Third grade play of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." We still sing the words to the songs in our head and smile when we think of all of the hard work these little 8 and 9 year olds did. Jbird really had a mass fan base, family flying in from all over to see her big show.

Jadyn's summer has been jammed packed with tons of fun camps, including an amazing drama camp where they put on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Oh, the drama, could not have been more apropos. Overheard in the car on the ride home one day, "you know, comedy is really my thing.. I mean it is really what it's all about". so true, so true. J did awesome, learned a lot, wore makeup and memorized all of her songs and dances... still being used around the house "What do you get from a lot of TV, a pain in the neck and an IQ of 3".. hey, I resent that.
