than the SCOOLER... Jadyn's invention for the "invention convention" at school. We are so proud of her.. she thought of this INGENIOUS adaptation to your average scooter. What does the SCOOLER do? Well, in Jadyn's words... this detatchable (industrial strength velcro) cooler, allows you to keep on playing and have your drinks and snacks with you so you don't have to go inside. You can sit on it, you can kneel on it... you can kick it at the park all day with your Scooler.
I don't know why I'm worried about getting another job. I need to patent this thing right away. The envious eyes of other kids as she rode her invention into school on the day we finished.. you should have seen it. By far the best one on display at second grade Open House (yes, she wanted to wear 'teenager shirt' again).
****taking orders now*** Jadyn overheard this morning saying that a Scooler conversion of your ordinary scooter would cost "
Four bucks for friends, Five bucks for non-friends" what?? that's like selling yourself short, J!... "

A day in the life of an on-the- go toddler... this last one scared the crap out of me.. literally.. sorry, but god forbid I go tinkle and believe he would stay in the other room and play nicely.. no, Dad forgot to put the gate up at the top of the stairs and someone thought he'd follow Jadyn to school (in a helmet and jammies) slithering down ALL of the stairs without a sound... little sneaker!!!!

Someone here is obsessed... I mean crazy about.. helmets.. and skateboards.. and anything with wheels. I swear, inately born into boys. Campbell refuses to get in the car (or do anything) once we set foot out of the house..without running around with one of Jadyn's helmets on (LIKE THIS.. half on backwards, so he cannot even see) in and around our overflowing (or over-floated as Olivia says) garage.
yet another "here, hold your brother and pose on your cute heart quilt" moment gone awry... trust me, they were all about the love this Valentine's day. Jadyn even gave Campbell her mexican bobble head dog since he loves it so much. I know. Precious moments at the Heits.

After the BIG 'storm watch' in San Diego.. this is all that remained and was super intriguing to barefoot big C... such a boy. He then proceeded to run out into the street to chase a bike.
aside from the fact that he'd rather talk to the birds than his mom, I could not believe Campbell is now big enough to sit and have a bagel and "cheers" with me while doing a little (VERY LITTLE, I KNOW... we're in a recession!) shopping.
