Without a hitch
it was one of those things we'd been imagining, as a group of "moms"... we talked about "how we should go away wine tasting for the weekend" all the time..... well, all it took was a few phone calls and a driver and we were practically gone before the sun rose... hitting the road to Santa Barbara. We were in it for the 'long haul' and really rallied for a big day and night out... sans babies and husbands... living it up and pretending we weren't old ladies...We had our Kasual Kaptain, our paparazzi-slash-last call lullabye, the real Long Haul, picnic party planner, and Bibif...whose toes are still sore from dancing in pointy grandma heels and wanted to be sure to keep a souvenir from the day.. lots of laughs and 'camp' style dorky jokes we're probably going to be bringing up until we are "forced" to do another weekend away again!
Party Planner extraordinaire
Jadyn spearheaded a great birthday party for me this year... bust out the bowling shirts (and iron them, per Jadyn's request)!! She "booked it up" and reserved lanes at the alley herself, as well as inviting friends and neighbors... and made sure they gave her balloons to tie at the lane.. we had a blast... it was a great b-day.. topped off with an adorable cake that dad brought home (and couldn't pass up a dozen fresh donuts, too) from VG's. I love you, guys!
