What a way to ring in 2010

We resolve to camp-out more this year.. {I'm aiming for airstream rallies in the future}.. being together, figuring things out in the great outdoors will be good for Team Heit.

Despite the sold out crowd and non-stop rain, Heits managed a *few* smiles to celebrate Townsend and Poppis shared birthday at D-land.

seriously. it was all about umbrellas and ponchos.. where are we, Oregon?? you might have thought so with all of the Ducks in town for the Rose Bowl.

Jingle Bob

Jadyn had a blast at her "first concert," as she called the little private Bob Schneider show we went to at Bernardo Winery with the Roses. Fun, carriage rides and, as the venue suggests, wine were enjoyed by all.. well, ok, kids had kettle korn and koko...and Campbell wouldn't go anywhere near Santa.

Even Elmo getting in on the act could not win Campbell over. Poor guy. Mean mom. (disclaimer, the hair had nothing to do with this Santa experience... I don't want to talk about Justin's botched father-son haircuts... I feel sick to my stomach and cried myself to sleep about it....I know, it's only hair... and the good news is, Campbell thinks it's cool.)
