Unreal weather for the late April birthday celebrations of Uncle Bill and Joe! (60 plus 30) The circus party was complete with a visit from the parade calliope,... kicking off the Rose Festival season... No details spared, not surprisingly..

Spring into Summer... back to the Flower Fields

Every year I say we will go take pictures at the magical fields of ranunculus that appear in April right here in Carlsbad... and every year, the month flies by and the rainbow fields are dirt again as the flowers disappear.  This year we made it, but taking a good picture did prove difficult.

Leo's first and Jbird's 11th are only 2 weeks apart (with Easter sandwiched in between this year) so we celebrated together! Kicking off the carnival theme party year! Never enough pictures to capture all of the memories made at the birthdays...
