Belly bottoms, SOS

Help from any mom friends out there reading this... B needs some new bottoms.. the rubber-band-button-loop extention method is not really cutting it these days and I'm feeling like I want something a little slimmer to offset the tent style tops I'm loving.. that are by and LARGE dresses... so that I'm not one giant mass of clothing... I mean, don't get me wrong, I love cargo, drawstring, baggier pants, and I'm hoping that day comes soon when I feel like if I wear a slimmer tee shirt people will know I'm pregnant and haven't just been hanging at the college bar drinking too much Coors Light...until then, I'm all about the big shirt dress and slimmer pants.. but the slimmer pants aren't all about me these days.... so shout out if you've got a good tip, lead, favorite shop, or homemade solution.. and p.s. it's been hot here already..so maybe you just want to say it's hopeless.. go out and lay by the pool in the tankini?? any suggestions welcome!

In other random notes, I'm LOLing at Notes From the Underbelly!! I just turned it on and the husband is telling his wife she's cutting off the circulation to the baby by squeezing into her non-maternity jeans... NICE..notes on the lame husband comments later.. I might need a new blog for that. Or another sober spy weekend.. more to come

Belly bands. They didn't have them when I had my kids, but I have friends who swear by them.

I can't even imagine that in-between stage!!
But you shouldn't worry one bit...no one is looking at your bottoms (well, actually...) because your face is so striking!! Fashionable Liz will make it through this stage as cute as can be, I'm sure of it!

Belly Bands are for sure the way to go at this stage! You can wear your regular jeans just unbuttoned (and even unzipped). It is great before you get to the real maternity jeans. Which by the way - Gap has the best (and I bought the expensive ones too).
