Dad and Jbird practicing their 'kitaurs... in the room that will formerly be known as the "office". Crazy how some moments in our lives we realize we will never have this kind of day again. We were getting all sentimental remembering the days before we were married. The driving back and forth to Laguna, the crazy saloon benders, packing my bags for the weekend at Stone Steps, pushing Jbird in the jogger down Neptune, filling up the inflatable pool that would eventually flood our home, being just the two of us on a weekend trip with no agenda...even Jadyn likes to remember the times at Sylvia street, when she lived in a closet and our teeny little abode was never empty...we all remember fondly the fun and the love that comes from being in such close proximity...and the feeling of new love and how you just can't wait to be together..how we will never have those days back again.. it's kind of heartbreaking to think about how time just slips through our fingers like sand (through the hourglass)..how we don't think about how quickly it all is forgotten, until it's gone..and the nostalgic cloud breaks to show us there are so many new adventures in store for us as a family, moments we cannot even predict nor imagine...more firsts, more fits and new baby stuff to move into that 'office'..
